Site Studios is a web design and SEO studio in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng,. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It follows South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who is responsible

Site Studios, Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. For anything on this page, email enquiries@sitestudios.co.za.

What we collect

Only what you give us when you contact us or use the project form:

We do not ask for ID numbers, bank details or card numbers through this site.

How the project form works

The form on the Start a project page builds a message on your device. You then send it to us yourself through WhatsApp or your email app. The form does not submit your details to our server. While you fill it in, a draft is saved in your own browser so you do not lose it. That draft stays on your device. Use "Clear the form" or clear your browser data to remove it.

Why we use it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

Businesses we contact

We may email or message businesses using contact details they have published for business purposes, to tell them about our services. Every message gives you a way to say no, and if you tell us to stop, we stop and note it so we do not contact you again.

Who else handles your information

Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email pass through those services (Meta and your email provider) under their own privacy terms. This website is hosted on a server in a data centre, and like most servers it keeps standard access logs that include IP addresses. We do not use advertising cookies or third party analytics on this site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for as long as it is useful to follow up, then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period after, in case we need them for support or for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
